Mayon Construction Supply, dates its root back to 1957 when it debuted into the trading industry. It initially engaged in the business of hardware, industrial supplies and power tools with brands including Milwaukee, Miller Falls, Mitsubishi, and Black & Decker. In the 70’s, the company integrated the manufacturing and distribution of Beltman brand of fan belts. In1973, the company was offered by MAKITA ELECTRIC WORKS (Japan) to be the sole distributor of MAKITA brand power tools in the Philippines. At the time, the market for MAKITA POWER TOOLS was so small that annual sale seldom reach 100 units. However, Mayon Construction accepted the challenge and slowly made MAKITA brand a household name. Mayon’s accomplishment not only delighted our Japanese supplier but also caught the attention of several other manufacturer of woodworking and metalworking machines. One of these was HINOKI woodworking machinery which offered exclusive distributorship to Mayon Construction on 1975 until 1983, when the HINOKI company finally decided to establish its own subsidiary in the Philippines. Mayon Construction Supply has grown to become one of the Philippines’ biggest importing and marketing company, its objective founded on the philosophy of giving total commitment to excellence in everything it does for our dealers and customers. Owing to sound management, keen business forecasting, sheer hard work, and excellent customer relation , the company grew to what it is today an achievement brought about by strict adherence to the principle and values instilled since the start.
